Thomas Britton “Britt” Harris IV has joined Texas Permanent School Fund (PSF) Corporation as its acting CEO, a role he will serve in while the Texas PSF conducts a hiring search.
Harris replaces B. Holland Timmins III, who stepped down in April with intentions to retire.
Previously, Harris was the CIO at the $66 billion fund University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Management Company (UTIMCO), since 2017. He left in June as part of the endowment’s succession plan, naming Rich Hall as its successor. Other positions held was the CIO at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas for 10 years, and he held executive roles at Bridgewater Associates and the Verizon Investment Management Corp.
