Tesco Pension Fund has forward funded Stoford’s development of Pets at Home warehouse, Staffordshire, a landlocked county in the West Midlands of England. The project has broken ground. Pets at Home signed a 20-year lease on the purpose-built facility.
The BREEAM excellent building will deliver a gross internal floor area of 670,000 square feet, with an additional 100,000 square feet of expansion land available if required.
Facilities will include two double-story hub offices of 5,600 square feet and a recycling store, tote store and a gatehouse detached from the main building.
The new national storage and distribution center is part of the first phase of development on a 70-acre site at Stafford North Business Park.
