The Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) has shuffled $100 million to the open-end Cortland Growth and Income Fund, managed by Cortland Partners.
According to an investment report, this represents the second investment by TCRS in Cortland Partners. Cortland Partners is a vertically integrated, multifamily owner and operator. The fund strategy is to acquire and lease-up undermanaged properties across the Southeast and Southwest regions of the United States.
As of June 30, 2020, the most recent data available on TCRS’ website, the pension fund had a market value of $53.4 billion.
