Suntec REIT plans $815m Australian office sales

by Andrea Zander

Suntec REIT has announced plans to sell interests in three Australian office properties valued at a combined S$1.04 billion ($815 million), as the Singapore-listed trust focuses on expanding its Singapore portfolio and reducing borrowing costs, according to Mingtiandi.

The REIT plans to launch formal sale campaigns for its wholly owned 177 Pacific Highway and 21 Harris St. properties in Sydney, as well as its 50 percent interest in Olderfleet at 477 Collins St. in Melbourne, Australia.

The combined value is based on appraisals dated Dec. 31, 2025, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The proposed divestments are part of Suntec REIT’s strategy to rebalance its portfolio toward Singapore while strengthening its balance sheet.
