Sunnyvale mobile home community sells for $237m

Plaza Del Rey MHC, an affiliate of American Hometown Communities based in Chicago, has paid $237.4 million for an 800-unit mobile home community in Sunnyvale, Calif., according to local media outlets.

The seller was The Carlye Group.

The property features 800 quality manufactured homes spread across more than 95 acres of landscaped grounds and paved streets. Amenities include three clubhouses, three pools, three spas, two saunas, a bocce ball court, a fitness center and a playground.
