Stonelake Capital Partners has closed on a 69-acre industrial development site in El Paso, Texas, and plans to build 1.1 million square feet of class A industrial buildings on a speculative basis.
“Eastlake Logistics Park is a unique opportunity for Stonelake to develop 1.1 million square feet of class A warehouse space in the El Paso market which is 97 percent occupied,” said Travis Eickenhorst, partner at Stonelake responsible for the development. “The financial strength of Stonelake allow us to develop Eastlake Logistic Park on speculative basis in order to capitalize on the growing demand for warehouse space driven by cross-border trade and ecommerce tenants. We are excited and ready to execute on this incredible opportunity.”
The industrial park, which will be called Eastlake Logistics Park, is located at the northeast intersection of Eastlake Boulevard and Interstate 10, directly adjacent to Amazon’s new 2.6 million-square-foot fulfillment center. Stone
