Starwood REIT (SREIT ), a publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trust sponsored by Starwood Capital Group, has plans to sell more than 2,000 single-family rentals, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The assets are part of the 2,300-home portfolio Starwood acquired from Pretium Partners in 2021 for than $2 billion.
The REIT named Sean Harris as its CEO in May 2023, replacing John McCarthy, who had served as CEO since the inception of the REIT in November 2017.
