Square Mile Capital Management has raised $298 million for its Square Mile Partners VI fund a year after opening it to investors, according to an Oct. 13 SEC filing.
The opportunistic Fund VI is targeting $900 million and will invest in global real estate debt.
Three investments contributed to the capital raise, two of which were provided by the Teacher Retirement System of Texas in both 2019 and 2020. Texas teachers invested $100 million each time. The last investor could not be confirmed at the time of publication.
