“On the overall AI journey, we’re still very much in the foothills. The United States is running a bit ahead of Europe,” said Lewis in the interview. “The focus is still on the model-training phase, which is driving tenants to locations where they can access the quantum of power that’s needed at an affordable cost. Where we’re heading is more of the inference phase, which will be more latency sensitive and start to shift some of those locations.”
