Tenants, staff and investors have all come to expect more engagement and customization with regard to real estate, especially since the pandemic. The need for active asset management in the real estate portfolio is one manifestation of this higher level of engagement.

“You have to stay present and be prepared to make informed decisions quickly,” says Rob Naso, managing partner and head of U.S. Asset Management with BGO, in an interview published in the June issue of Institutional Real Estate Americas. “A sense of urgency is critical in this business, and we emphasize that constantly.
