South Korea’s National Pension Service (NPS) has committed approximately $709 million to four asset managers operating in the real estate and renewable energy sectors, IPE Real Assets reported on Friday.
NPS has selected IGIS Asset Management and Samsung SRA Asset Management to manage $221.6 million each to invest in real estate.
And Shinhan Alternative Investment Management and Samchully Asset Management will each get approximately $133 million to invest primarily in domestic renewable energy assets.
