Skanska sells Gothenburg offices

Stockholm-based Skanska has sold two fully leased Gothenburg, Sweden, office buildings to Swedish property group Kungsleden for approximately SEK 1 billion ($130 million).

The properties acquired from Skanska have a total rentable area of ​​almost 322,000 square feet, of which approximately 197,000 square feet is office space and 125,000 square feet is parking garages.

One office building was completed in 2016 and will trade on Feb. 1, 2018, together with the parking garage, which was completed in 2015. The second office building is under construction and the deal will close after completion and occupation during first quarter 2019.

The office properties are fully rented to Försäkringskassan, ÅF, Capgemini, Handelsbanken and BeSiDa.

Södra Centrum has a very good geographical location between the two junctions Korsvägen and Mölndal C and with direct connection to the E6.
