Skanska invests €178m for office building in Stockholm, Sweden

Skanska has invested SEK 2 billion (€178 million/$195 million) in the Olivin office building, the first phase of the upcoming development area in Stockholm’s Lindhagen district. The investments also include a construction contract worth about SEK 1 billion (€89 million/$98 million), which will be included in the Swedish order bookings in fourth quarter 2023.

The new property Olivin comprises about 23,000 square meters (247,570 square feet) of lettable space and will house a restaurant and other service functions on ground level.

Western Kungsholmen, developed during the past 20 years, is one of Stockholm's most attractive locations for work and living, with good communications, mixed housing and good service. Olivin is part of Lindhagenskvarteren, the last piece of the puzzle to complete western Kungsholmen and comprising about 90,000 square meters (968,572 square feet) of new offices.
