Sirius Capital Partners has launched a new fund to invest in build-to-rent residential assets in Finland, predominantly in the Helsinki region.
Sirius Fund IV was launched with a final closing of €200 million ($210 million) in equity, backed by international institutional investors. The investor mix includes multi-managers, pension companies and family offices, with more than three-quarters of the capital coming from the United States and the rest from Europe.
“The residential market in Finland is very interesting, and as the international interest towards the segment is growing, there are significant opportunities for a local opportunistic investor such as Sirius,” said Patrick Gylling, CEO of Sirius Capital Partners. “The interest among investors for this fund was very high on both sides of the Atlantic, enabling us to have a very quick fundraising.”
To date, Fund IV has invested around 70 percent of its capital.
