Singapore investor buys London office for £260m

Stamford Land Corp. has acquired a 60 percent interest in 8 Finsbury Circus in London for £260 million ($318 million). Mitsubishi Estate London was the seller, and Ow Global Pte. will retain the remaining 40 percent.

8 Finsbury Circus is a freehold class A commercial office and retail property with a net leasable area of approximately 180,000 square feet, arranged over a total of 10 floors. Mitsubishi Estate London completed its redevelopment in 2016. 8 Finsbury Circus is fully leased to one retail tenant and four office tenants, including well-established investment houses, and provides a weighted average unexpired lease term of close to 14 years.

It is the first new commercial office development on Finsbury Circus in more than 25 years.
