Simon Lutz has been appointed partner at Peakside Capital Advisors.
Lutz is responsible for acquisitions and the investment management of assets in Germany, working from the Frankfurt office.
Prior to his start at Peakside, Lutz attained a master’s degree (M.Sc.) in real estate from the University of Regensburg (IREBS) and a second M.Sc. in real estate from the University of Reading (Henley Business School).
Nikhil Gupta will also be promoted to managing director. He is head of portfolio management and responsible for the portfolio management of the Peakside Real Estate Fund series. Prior to joining Peakside in 2010, he was part of the M&A team at Rothschild & Co Investment Bank in Paris.
In addition, Maximilian Baumann and Julian Hilbert were appointed associates. Both work in the Frankfurt office.
