Shelter Rock Capital Advisors has formed a strategic alliance with Penmount Partners to lead Shelter Rock’s expansion in Asia. Penmount’s managing partner is industry veteran Philip (Lev) Levinson a Singapore-based, real estate–focused capital adviser. He established Blackstone’s presence in Australia and, most recently, led the IPO of Cromwell European REIT, a €1 billion ($1.1 billion) diversified REIT with assets across five European countries, listed in Singapore — the first of its kind in Asia.
“Last year, Asian capital outflows into EMEA and the United States amounted to almost $35 billion,” said Levinson. “We are delighted to be partnering with Shelter Rock to provide our investor base with unique, independent access to opportunities in these markets.”
