Shawn Kimble has joined Stream Realty Partners’s investment management platform as executive managing director. Based in Charlotte, N.C., Kimble will work alongside CIO Adam Jackson to help lead capital formation, investment strategy, new product development and the continued growth of Stream’s investment management business.
Kimble brings nearly two decades of institutional real estate investment experience spanning capital markets, investing, strategy and platform leadership. He joins Stream from Barings, where he most recently served as head of U.S. and European capital markets and Strategy for the firm’s global real estate platform.
In that role, Kimble oversaw capital markets, research and strategy, valuations, risk management, development, and engineering while driving strategic growth initiatives across the platform. He also served on Barings’ U.S. Debt, Equity and Affordable Housing Investment Committees, as well as its Valuation Committees.
