SFERS’ senior real estate portfolio manager to retire

by Reg Clodfelter

Lindsey Adams, the senior portfolio manager of the San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System's $1.7 billion real estate portfolio, will be retiring at the end of May. A search for her replacement will begin at that time.

Adams began her real estate portfolio management career at RREEF (now Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management) in San Francisco in November 1988.

She joined SFERS in January 2009 after working at AMB Property Corp. (merged with Prologis in 2011), though the retirement system had been a client of hers in 1992 at Metric Realty (now part of BlackRock) and since 1994 at AMB.

Her favorite memories from her career included the many opportunities to learn from very smart industry leaders, Adams noted in an email. She has no immediate plans after retirement.
