SFERS board approves recommendation for real assets consultant
The board of the San Francisco City and County Employees’ Retirement System has approved the recommendation that Cambridge Associates serve as the consultant for its new real assets portfolio. The decision is still subject to the finalization of the contract. SFERS is not allowed to comment on the decision until the contract has been finalized, completing the RFP process.
The real assets portfoliowill include SFERS’ $1.78 billion real estate portfolio, whose senior manager, Lindsay Adams, retired in May. According to board documents from the $20.3 billion retirement system, the real assets portfolio may invest in real estate as well asother inflation
