Conglomerate company Doosan Group has sold its headquarters building in Seoul for $689 million to a local private equity fund.
The sale of Doosan Tower is part of Doosan Group's plan to repay its 3 trillion won ($63.6 billion) in debt extended by its creditors.
Doosan Tower, located in Dongdaemun Fashion Market in Seoul, was completed in 1998. It has a total floor area of 122,630 square meters (1.3 million square feet), with seven basement floors and 34 ground floors.
