SEGRO, a U.K.-based real estate investment trust, has plans to buy the management platform of Roxhill Management Rugby Limited (RMRL).
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In 2016, SEGRO and Roxhill Development Group entered a partnership to acquire a portfolio of big-box warehouse development sites in the Midlands and South-East regions of the United Kingdom, including the huge East Midlands Gateway scheme now under construction. Under the same agreement, SEGRO had the right to acquire the management platform, RMRL, after a period of 30 months.
The deal, which is scheduled to complete later this year, will create a single team, based in the Midlands, focused on the management and development of U.K. big-box warehousing.
