Seefried to develop 1.6msf Amazon Sortation Center in Hogansville, Ga.

Seefried Industrial Properties has plans for the development of a new 1.6 million-square-foot Amazon center in Troup County, Ga. The planned facility, which is anticipated to launch in 2027, will be Amazon’s third sortation center in Georgia.

“This was an expansive project that took great efforts from our client, our land sellers, the City of Hogansville leadership, brokerage team at KBC Advisors and the Georgia Department of Transportation to meld all of the moving pieces into a tremendous development that will be transformative for this area of the state,” said Doug Smith, senior vice president at Seefried Industrial Properties.

Located along State Route 54/East Main Street near Bass Cross Road, the facility will serve as a critical node in Amazon’s national logistics network. The Hogansville location offers exceptional access to key infrastructure, including direct connectivity to Interstate 85, proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport,
