Schroders has promoted Andy Howard from head of sustainable research to global head of sustainable investment, reporting to Charles Prideaux, global head of investment.
Howard has been instrumental in helping develop Shroders’ proprietary ESG toolkit since he joined the firm’s sustainability research business in 2016, according to a statement from the firm. Howard will now lead the sustainable investment team and help drive active ownership across the company. He will also retain his existing responsibilities in sustainability research.
Concurrently, Jessica Ground, global head of stewardship, is leaving Schroders after more than 20 years, to take the next step in her career. She joined the firm in 1997 and held a number of roles within the investment division during that time.
