Tjarko Edzes has been named chief capital officer of Scape, a specialized residential-for-rent platform.
Based in Sydney, Edzes previously was with Amsterdam-based Bouwinvest Real Estate Investment Management, serving as the organization’s regional manager Asia Pacific since 2014. In 2018, he moved to Sydney to set up the Asia Pacific office for the firm.
Bouwinvest was an early investor in Scape Australia, the Australian student accommodation platform set up in early 2015 by the founders of Scape and APG, the Netherland’s largest pension fund asset manager.
