SC Capital Partners names new head of investor relations

SC Capital Partners Group has appointed Chris van Beek as executive director and head of investor relations.

Based in Singapore, van Beek's primary focus will be on investor relations, marketing and fundraising activities for SC Capital Partners' suite of real estate strategies.

SC Capital Partners Group is an employee-owned, pan–Asia Pacific real estate investment management firm with more than $7.4 billion in assets under management across five discretionary closed-end opportunistic funds, one discretionary open-end core-plus fund and two listed REITs.

Van Beek started his career in Hong Kong and has more than 14 years of experience in private real estate fundraising. He joins from MaxCap Group, an Australian and New Zealand real estate debt manager, where he focused on institutional capital raising, based out of Sydney. He has held similar roles with UBS Asset Management and Aberdeen Asset Management.
