Savills IM strengthens ESG team in line with net-zero roadmap

Savills Investment Management has bolstered its ESG team as the firm publishes its Net Zero Carbon Pathway.

Cathy Keir has been appointed as senior ESG manager. Based in London, Keir joins from BMO Real Estate Partners, where she served as sustainability analyst. In her new role, she will support investment teams focusing on Europe initially, implementing ESG targets and initiatives set out in the Net Zero Carbon Pathway.

The Net Zero Carbon Pathway lays out the firm’s plan to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 and become a restorative business by 2050. The net-zero carbon emissions target applies to all assets that the firm holds for more than two years, which is equivalent to 98 percent of its global assets under management, as well as all new funds that are developed.
