The San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System (SFERS) has committed $70 million to Milestone Real Estate Investors VI (MREI VI) and $60 million to SDC Digital Infrastructure Opportunity Fund IV (SDC DIOF IV). The commitments closed on Jan. 16 and Jan. 11, respectively.
Managed by The Milestone Group, a Dallas-based real estate investor and adviser firm, MREI IV is a closed-end fund that is seeking to raise $1 billion to invest with a value-add strategy in multifamily property assets in the United States.
MREI V closed in May 2021 after raising $750 million of capital commitments and invested in multifamily opportunities in the United States as well, with a particular focus on the Sunbelt and Mid-Atlantic markets.
SDC DIOF IV is managed by SDC Capital Partners and is investing in IT and communications infrastructure, including in data centers, network and fiber, wireless infrastructure and managed IT/cloud infrastructure.
