S2 Capital blows past fundraising target for debut multifamily fund

S2 Capital, a value-add multifamily investor, has completed the final closing of its debut S2 Multifamily Value-Add Fund I.

The vehicle closed at its hard cap of $400 million of investor and co-invest commitments in eight months, far exceeding its target of $250 million. The investor mix included various institutional investors, family offices, investment banks, and high-net-worth individuals.
