RSF Partners launches new debt fund

RSF Partners, a Dallas–based private equity investment firm, has launched RSF Partners VII, according to a filing with the SEC.

The new fund has already raised $148.5 million in equity commitments and is seeking to raise $250 million in total. The real estate fund will invest in debt secured by U.S. properties. The firm focuses primarily on the senior living sector and opportunistic commercial real estate investments.

The fund’s predecessor, RSF Partners VI, raised $50 million in 2013, coming in under its $200 million fundraising target.

Since its inception, RSF has invested more than $900 million in discretionary private equity capital across all real estate product types, layers of the capital stack and regions of the United States.
