Royal London Asset Management has announced the largest ever launch of a U.K. property fund, worth more than £2.7 billon ($3.6 billion).
The Royal London U.K. Real Estate Fund (RLUKREF) invests in U.K. commercial property across all major sectors and regions, including industrials, offices, retail warehouses, shopping centers and is designed to provide domestic and foreign institutional investors exposure to the U.K. commercial real estate market.
Fully seeded by Royal London, the fund invests in prime U.K. properties, more than two-thirds being in London in locations including New Bond Street, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street and St Paul’s.
Drew Watkins is the lead portfolio fund manager for the fund and Stephanie Hacking is the deputy portfolio fund manager.
