Richard Cohen, a managing director at GTIS Partners, has passed away.
Cohen joined the firm in 2010. Prior to joining GTIS Partners, Cohen was executive director at Morgan Stanley Real Estate, where he raised substantial capital for real estate and infrastructure limited partnerships and served as a real estate contact for the firm’s global wealth management division. Previously, Cohen was senior vice president at ING Clarion, the U.S. arm of the world’s largest real estate investment management firm, ING Real Estate. His roles at the firm included sales, marketing and client service of ING Clarion’s products to institutional investors and their consultants.
Cohen also held positions at Schroder Real Estate Associates, Prudential Real Estate Investors and The William Kaufman Organization.
