RFR Holdings acquires Manhattan office for $206m

by Andrea Waitrovich

RFR Holding has purchased 95 Morton St. in Manhattan for $206 million. The seller was Brickman, which acquired the office in 2008 for $96.5 million.

The eight-story, 215,000-square-foot office building is located between Washington and Greenwich streets.

In addition, RFR Holding recently increased its stake in 77 Sands St. located in Brooklyn, buying out its partner, Invesco Real Estate. The site, a five-building, mixed-use campus along the East River waterfront, was once part of the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ portfolio in Brooklyn.

In 2013, Kushner Cos., RFR Realty, LIVWRK and Invesco acquired the 1.2 million-square-foot complex for $375 million.

Other assets RFR Holdings has acquired in Brooklyn include 81 and 55 Prospect St. and 117 Adams St.
