RFR Holding, Tristar Capital JV acquires Seattle office building for $313m

A joint venture of RFR Holding, a privately controlled real estate investment, development and management company, and New York–based Tristar Capital has acquired an office building in Seattle for $313 million.

The joint venture purchased the property from Bellevue, Wash.–based Schnitzer West, a property development and management company.

Completed in 2017, Centre 425 is a newly constructed, 362,800-square-foot, 16-story, class A office building. It is currently 100 percent leased by tenants such as Amazon, Bank of America and Starbucks.

With this new acquisition, RFR Holding and Tristar Capital have paid more than $1 billion to buy four office buildings totaling 1.3 million square feet in the past year, including two other Amazon offices in South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle.
