Mission West Properties, a REIT that manages properties in Silicon Valley, said a private equity fund was negotiating to buy it for about $1.8 billion, reported Reuters.
The Cupertino, Calif.–based company did not disclose the identity of its bidder, a real estate private equity fund.
Mission West manages 107 properties totaling about 7.7 million rentable square feet, largely for corporate research and development.
