Redevco has started to refurbish the Haussmann building in Paris, an asset it has held for more than 30 years.
The refurbishment of the building entails the redesign of the retail units, occupying more than 6,500 square meters (69,965 square feet) over four levels. On each level the concepts presented will be enhanced by showroom spaces. The project also involves the embellishment of the facades, including the partial refurbishment of the listed Moorish facade on Rue des Mathurins. Built in the early 20th century, this asset of more than 15,000 square meters (161,459 square feet) also includes 6,000 square meters ( 64,584 square feet) of offices with a green patio, as well as six levels of underground parking. The new plans also have a goal to achieve net-zero carbon throughout by 2040.
