Realterm secures $532m for recapitalization of IOS portfolio

Realterm, a transportation-focused independent global investment manager, has raised $532 million in coinvestment capital alongside an investment from one of Realterm’s core-plus, open-ended funds.

The fundraise was part of a $1.2 billion portfolio recapitalization for a 61-asset, national industrial outdoor storage (IOS) portfolio located in and around major population centers, primary distribution hubs and main freight corridors.

The portfolio includes a mixture of cross-dock truck terminals, drayage yards and other transportation-advantaged secure storage sites that enable the movement of freight through the nation’s supply chain.
