Private wealth is becoming a larger source of capital for institutional real estate as family offices and high-net-worth investors seek opportunities across sectors where valuations have adjusted and new entry points have emerged. Office is among the property types attracting attention from investors who believe market dislocation has created opportunities to acquire quality assets at discounted prices. In an exclusive interview with IREI, Adam Abeln, CIO and managing director of Real Capital Solutions (RCS), discussed private wealth's growing role in institutional real estate, the appeal of office investments and what investors should understand about the opportunities and risks in the current market.
