Australian corporate superannuation fund Qantas Super has joined other institutional investors, including APG and Ivanhoé Cambridge, to invest capital in Taronga Ventures’ built environment technology fund, RealTech Ventures I (RTVI).
The fund invests in emerging companies in Asia and beyond, supporting them through direct introductions to key decision makers within its investor base. The fund has a strong focus on sustainable and clean technology companies.
Qantas Super said the investment contributes to its goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions from investments by 2050.
