Principal Real Estate Europe continues the expansion of its European data center expertise with the appointment of industry veteran Paul Lewis as director of European data centers.
In this newly created role, Lewis will be Principal Real Estate’s European data center specialist, responsible for data center asset and transaction management. He will be closely involved with the broader Principal Real Estate investment team in the transaction and underwriting process for all acquisitions across Europe.
With more than 30 years of experience operating in the data center and industrial sectors, Lewis joined Principal Real Estate on Monday from SEGRO, where he was most recently director of group data centers with responsibility for the group’s developments across western and central Europe. During his time at SEGRO, Lewis held numerous roles and presided over the growth of the group’s largest asset, the Slough Trading Estate, turning it into the pre-eminent data center
