PGIM secures $591.1m for sixth senior housing fund

PGIM Real Estate has raised $591.1 million for its Senior Housing Partnership Fund VI, according to a new SEC Form D, filed on Aug. 26. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

Thirteen investors have backed the fund, to date.

The fund has more than doubled in size since March, when it reported $256 million in capital commitments and is closing in on its target of $750 million.

Senior Housing Partnership Fund VI will invest in independent living, assisted living and memory care properties. The fund’s predecessor, Prudential Senior Housing Partnership Fund V, closed on $629 million of capital commitments in 2015.
