PGGM acquires Manhattan apartment tower for $650m

PGGM, a Dutch pension fund manager, has acquired a 30 percent stake in an apartment tower in Manhattan, located at 21 West End Ave., according to The Real Deal. The purchase price was $650 million.

The sellers were The Carlyle Group and Greenfield Partners. The developers of the 616-unit tower, Dermot Co. and the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust, own the remaining 70 percent.
