The $69.9 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund has made its first investment into a dedicated specialist property fund in the past few years, committing $150 million to Harrison Street Real Estate Partners V.
“The fund provides diversification into real estate asset classes we have not had significant exposure to,” explains Anthony Breault, senior real estate investment officer with Oregon State Treasurer’s office, which invests on behalf of OPERF. “We also like the track record and fiduciary mindset of the general partner.”
