Peeyush Shukla has joined Heitman, a global real estate investment management firm, as chief information and technology officer, the firm announced on Aug. 6.
In his new role, Shukla will be responsible for leading Heitman’s information technology initiatives and infrastructure group in support of its global investment management business.
He will also serve on Heitman’s global management committee and report directly to Maury Tognarelli, CEO of Heitman.
Shukla joins the firm from Nuveen Investments, where he served as managing director of data strategy, analytics and multi-asset solutions technology. There, he created the technology strategy and roadmap for a cloud-based platform for data management, investment management, and performance and risk management.
