Paul Mouchakkaa has joined Crow Holdings’ investment management business Crow Holdings Capital (CHC) as a senior managing director. Based in Dallas, Mouchakkaa will be responsible for build-to-core and core-plus investment programs and establishing new investment strategies while leveraging his decades of investment management experience to enhance CHC’s investment committee.
Mouchakkaa brings nearly 25 years of institutional real estate experience, creative solutions and service as a trusted adviser to CHC. Most recently, Mouchakkaa served as head of real estate of Alberta Investment Management Corp. and was responsible for its gross C$30 billion ($21.9 billion) real estate portfolio globally across core to opportunistic strategies.
Before his tenure at AIMCo, Mouchakkaa served as managing partner and head of Canada at BentallGreenOak, the Canadian investment management team responsible for a gross C$25 billion ($18.3 billion) diversified real estate portfolio on
