Pantheon launches new real estate strategy

The firm said that its new real estate strategy is being developed as an extension of its global infrastructure and real assets platform to provide capital solutions to real estate operators, GPs and investors. It will initially focus on secondary opportunities.

Pantheon also hired a senior team of real estate investors, Roman Braslavsky and David Elliott, to establish and lead the new strategy. They join the firm from GI Partners, a middle-market private investment firm based in San Francisco.

Braslavsky joins as partner and head of Pantheon real estate, while Elliott joins as managing director. The team will be based in New York.

Pantheon sees a more than $10 billion annual opportunity in the rapidly evolving real estate secondaries market and is well positioned to develop portfolio solutions for its global clients.
