Pandemic brings out the best in the industrial property sector

The industrial property sector has performed well in nearly every geographic market in the United States throughout the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, as trends such as online shopping skyrocketed demand for these assets.

In a video interview with IREI, Cliff Booth, founder and CEO of Westmount Realty Capital, said the outpouring of demand from tenants as well as the outpouring of investor capital from around the world has been striking.

Westmount Realty Capital has focused on the industrial sector for more than 30 years, weathering the inevitable economic shocks and downturns; however, Booth says he was surprised by how the sector has performed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
