Oxford Properties appoints Andreas Hardt as German MD

Oxford Properties, the global real estate arm of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS), has named Andreas Hardt as managing director of its German office.

He will help expand Oxford Properties’ German portfolio and oversee its most recent acquisition, the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin.

He has 25 years of experience in acquisition and sales, asset management, fund management, and project development. Prior to joining Oxford Properties, Hardt was responsible for Blackstone’s real estate platform in Germany.

Hardt has also been managing director at Valad in Berlin, director central region at Goldman Sachs RMD/Archon in Frankfurt and fund director at Alpha Real Capital in London.

He started his career at Deka Immobilien Investment in Frankfurt.

Oxford’s European portfolio now comprises 17 assets in London, Paris and Berlin with a combined value of €5.5 billion ($6.8 billion).
