Oryx Real Estate Partners has held a first and final close of its first U.K. logistics development fund. The fund is backed by two cornerstone institutional investors and has more than £100 million ($126 million) of investable capital.
The close, which was achieved against one of the most challenging recent capital-raising backdrops, underlines the growing appetite amongst international investors to deploy capital into U.K. real estate, alongside vertically integrated managers with a clear strategic focus. The very specific investment criteria and deliberate size of the fund will provide investors with a diversified exposure to four or five logistics developments.
