Orchard Street Investment Management has appointed Mark Russell as partner.
He was formerly at Legal & General, bringing the benefit of more than two decades of experience, including 10 years of managing L&G’s flagship £3.2 billion (€3.6 billion/$4.2 billion) Managed Property Fund.
Prior to his time at L&G, he was a portfolio manager at Prestbury. He started his career in the real estate industry at Jones Lang Wootton in 1996.
At Orchard Street, Russell will report directly to Philip Gadsden and also will become a member of the firm’s investment committee.
